This picture was taken shortly after Hannah and Esther arrived back to England in September 1999. Some of the first clothes they bought were raincoats and wellies, ready to take on anything the weather would bring. They did not have to wait long. They considered the rain quite a novelty compared to the weather in Cairo. We think that the novelty soon went!
